Safety Abuses Alleged at IKEA Supplier in Turkey

A major supplier for the Swedish furniture giant IKEA, located in Turkey, has been accused of serious abuses in worker safety and violations of union rights. Kris Boswell has more.

The Menderes company produces inexpensive textiles for IKEA. Swedish Radio News reports that the company has been accused of poor safety conditions, which have led to several serious accidents. Employees who have protested or who have joined a union have lost their jobs.
