A delegation from the Organization of the Islamic Conference – promoting the interest of Muslims around the world – has come to Sweden to encourage Stockholm not to forget the crucial dialogue with Muslims when this Nordic nation takes over the rotating presidency of the European Union on July 1st.

Radio Sweden’s Hiba Daniel asks the organization’s director general of social and cultural affairs, Bangladesh ambassador Heymayet Uddin, about the results of his informal talks at the Swedish Foreign Ministry and meetings with Muslims here in Sweden.

The Organization of the Islamic Conference is the 2nd largest inter-governmental organization after the United Nations with its membership of 57 states spread over 4 continents.
