Swine Flu

Fourth Swedish Case Confirmed

Published torsdag 28 maj 2009 kl 17.56

Swedish authorities have confirmed the fourth case of swine flu in this country. On Thursday evening the Institute for Infectious Disease Control reported that a 29 year old woman contracted the virus – which is also known as the novel flu – during a trip to the United States. According to the institute, the woman’s condition is quite stabile, but she is still suffering from symptoms of the influenza. As of today, 636 Swedes have been tested for the swine flu virus – most of them had travelled to the United States and Mexico before. (ah)
