40,000 Households Hit by Power Failure
Parts of the Stockholm area have been hit by another power failure Tuesday afternoon. A local power company announced that 40,000 households in the southern part of the capital were affected by the blackout. Repair teams were sent out to locate the cause of the breakdown.
Two days earlier a massive power failure had left 100,000 households north of Stockholm without electricity. The blackout was triggered by an explosion in a relay station, the cause of which has not been determined yet.
