Demonstrations against Famine

Swedish cities have taken part in an international demonstration against famine. In Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and other cities demonstrators called on the international community to increase joint efforts to fight hunger in the world. Demonstrators collected money which is supposed to be sent to schools in poor countries to provide pupils with food. According to the United Nations, 963 million people around the world suffer from permanent hunger.
