Why didn't Zlatan take the penalty?

Sweden's star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will captain the side in Wednesday night's World Cup qualifier against Malta.

The 27 year old replaces Henrik Larsson who's left the squad following a death in the family.

The veteran striker played in Sweden's 0-1 defeat at home to Denmark on Saturday, which left them ten points behind the Danes and struggling to qualify for the finals in South Africa next summer.

In tennis, Robin Söderling flew back to Sweden and a hero's reception on Monday after two weeks of heroics at the French Open Tennis in Paris.

The 24 year old reached a first ever Grand Slam Final on Sunday but lost in three sets to Roger Federrer, who now has the complete set of all four Grand Slams.

Söderling who arrived in Sweden by private jet, will fly off again later in the week to London to start grass court preparations for Wimbledon.
