Mapping the Identity by Film

Published onsdag 10 juni 2009 kl 12.52
Linus Wahlgren

To be born into a well known artistic family might be a blessing but also a curse when one's own identity is at stake. So what do you do? Linus Wahlgren, the youngest in the family famed for talents in show biz, made a film about his quest to prove who he really was. It's a fake documentary dealing also with issues of high brow culture versus popular culture and the difficulties to bridge the two. Radio Sweden was at the preview meeting Linus Walggren himself and his two friends Chrisitan Eklöw and Christopher Panov who produced the film "Scenes from Celbrity Life" with an allusion to late Ingmar Bergman's film "Scenes from a Marriage".
