No Swine Flu Checks on SAS
Scandinavian airline SAS and Norwegian Air will not follow the example set by British Airlines and Virgin Atlantic and monitor passengers' swine flu symptoms.
SAS press secretary Elisabeth Manzi said in an interview with Swedish Radio News that SAS will not check passengers for flu symptoms until Swedish health authorities recommend doing so.
Lars Röhne, press secretary at the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration, toes the same line as SAS. "It would be a bit silly if people who know about flying airplanes should decide what to do when it comes to infectious diseases," he said to Radio Sweden.
