More Women in Same Sex Marriages

Published tisdag 21 juli 2009 kl 11.28

Swedish statistics show that more lesbians than gay men are getting married here in Sweden since the new law on gender-neutral marriage went into affect on May 1st.

So far, 37 female couples have been married and only 11 male.

This is the opposite of those taking advantage of the homosexual partnership law of 1995 - where three times as many men took advantage of the law legalizing their relationships.
