Stockholm LGBT Home for Elderly?

Published tisdag 21 juli 2009 kl 13.38

Stockholm may get Europe's first elderly home for gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and trans persons.

The aim is to have qualified staff who do not have any prejudices some times found among others taking care of the elderly - denying them visits from LGBT friends or the delivery of gay magazines.

Project initiators say they need between 20 and 30 persons to quality for communal support and that they have already 30 persons on their list. They add that any heterosexual wanting to share a rainbow environment is also welcome.
