The Pirate Bay Net Site Still Closed

Published måndag 24 augusti 2009 kl 17.29
Sale of The Pirate Bay enters murky waters

The Swedish file sharing site The Pirate Bay remained closed on Tuesday morning after its bandwidth supplier was threatened with a large fine on Monday.

Black Internet was ordered by Stockholm District court to stop supplying bandwidth to The Pirate Bay or face paying a 500 000 kronor fine (70,000 dollars.)

The court issued the order because a court case involving the founders of The Pirate Bay and the US Film and record industry is still ongoing.
