Vaccinations Later than Expected

Published lördag 29 augusti 2009 kl 14.07
Not until october

It remains uncertain when Sweden’s national vaccination program against Swine flu will begin.

The National Board of Health and Welfare has informed doctors here that the program won’t begin until the beginning of October, rather than mid-September as previously scheduled.

According to Swedish Radio News the main reason for the delay is that approval for the vaccine from the EU authorities is now believed to take longer than expected.
