Slow-moving imports and exports

Sweden’s gross domestic product has shrunk by six percent in the second quarter of this year, compared to the figures of the same period in 2008. The latest report of Sweden Statistics shows that the decline was slightly milder than anticipated. There was a .2 percent gain compared to the previous quarter. Consumer expenses decreased by almost two percent. The country’s exports shrank by 17 percent, imports by 20 percent.
