Angry Moose "Hunts" Gothenburger

Published torsdag 15 oktober 2009 kl 14.39

As the moose or European elk hunt continues in Sweden, one suburban resident in the west coast city of Gothenburg has experienced a counter attack.

Taking her dog for a walk among the gardened bungalows, an elderly Swede says she came face to face with a large moose not only refusing to retreat but determined to demonstrate who's hunting who.

Falling backwards to the ground in the face of what she describes as an on rushing locomotive, the Swede said the moose kicked her in the head before departing – leaving her shaken but not seriously hurt.
