A 37-year-old British man has been detained at Skavsta Airport after crew members on a Ryanair flight accused him of preparing in-flight sabotage. News agency TT reports that the man allegedly "sneaked around with a camera and filmed safety procedures on the plane," which originated in London.

Police at the airport in Nyköping, located about 100 kilometers south of Stockholm, were waiting to seize the man upon the plane's arrival at 12:30 AM.

The man was released from questioning at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, though the police will continue to investigate the matter.

The man is a British citizen, but is registered at an address in Stockholm.
