Debate Continutes Over Job Security
Once again Sweden’s controversial job security legislation is being discussed. In Sweden employers can’t just fire any employee any time they want.
If an employee hasn’t done anything wrong, they’re safe in their job. If a company has to lay off workers, then the rule is last in, first out.
This doesn’t always agree with employers, who argue that sometimes the oldest workers lack the skills for newer times, the very skills the younger and most recently hired might have.
