Ruling Block: More Nuclear, Please
The sitting government wants to expand Sweden's nuclear power net, television news show Rapport reveals. The proposition involves the replacement of the country's ten reactors and the building of up to ten additional ones.
But the question of nuclear power is controversial among the Center Party, a part of the ruling block. If four or more parliamentarians from the center-right alliance choose to vote against the government's line, the proposal will fail to pass the parliament.
Two members of the Center Party and one former Moderate politician have already announced that they plan to vote against the measure, and one more is still unsure, news bureau TT reports.
