Winter: Collapsed Roofs, Late Swans

Swedish inspection authorities conclude that the 150 roofs of buildings which have collapsed under heavy snows this cold winter season can't be blamed on the weather - but on poor construction.

And in this period of delayed spring, bird watchers say they have seen only a few song swans so far arriving in their traditional resting places in southern Sweden - on their way from Denmark to northern Finland and Russia.

Last year at this time, 2,000 swans had arrived here - with another 2,000 coming in the following days.
