Stockholm's tube system is now back on track, following chaos Thursday morning as two of the city's main underground train lines were partially closed due to power failures.

Over 100 000 commuters are said to have been hit as the Green line between Alvik and Odenplan, and the Blue line between Kungsträdgården and Västra Skogen were closed. The trains were replaced by buses, but commuters were told to expect delays, with some journeys taking much longer than usual.

The problem surfaced at just after 4am Thursday at a power junction in Liljeholmen, which provides electricity to the system. Both lines were back in service by lunchtime.
