Roads blocked by ice and snow
It was only a matter of time - the Swedish winter has arrived on the scene in the arctic north, in the form of snow, ice and storms.
Roads near the costal cities of Umeå and Skellefteå are blocked by trucks that have failed to make it up icy hills, plus a number of cars have driven off the roads.
No serious injuries are reported.
The Swedish traffic authority hopes that the roads will be clear by later afternoon.
And the Swedish meteorological bureau has sounded a class 2 warning for the northern Baltic and Gulf of Bothnia, saying that there will be storms with wind of up to 25 metres per second, coming tonight or early tomorrow morning.
