SAS Up - Finnair Down
The Scandinavian Airlines System reports that total passenger traffic increased by 6 percent in October, compared to the same month last year.
In its monthly report, SAS says market growth is good, as is the outlook for increased revenues.
The report comes as Nordic rival Finnair reported that its profit fell more than expected in the third quarter. The Finnish carrier attributes the drop to rising financial costs, including fuel derivatives, and it forecasts strong competition in Europe.
