Scania boss Leif Östling points out that Germans "usually lose their wars"

The ongoing war of words over MAN’s attempts to take over Swedish truck-maker, Scania, is continuing.

Speaking about how communication between the two companies has been going, Leif Östling criticised the Germans direct approach and said ”they are experts on Blitzkrieg, but in the end they usually lose their wars”.

MAN is offering more than 13 billion US dollars for Scania and says it will press ahead with a hostile take-over bid if Scania shareholders do not accept it.
