Flooding in Gothenburg
2 av 2

One of the warmest Decembers since records started being taken here has meant lots of rain in the south, rather than the usual snow. There’s been severe flooding in southwestern Sweden, with landslides, trains delays and traffic problems as a result.

The rain has stopped in most of the country, with clear skies in many areas. There are some local showers in the south, and some snow in the northern mountains.

The temperature at 11:00 AM here in Stockholm was 6 degrees Celsius.

The sun rose here in Stockholm at 8:38 AM, with sunset at 2:48 PM.

Meanwhile, in Kiruna, above the Arctic Circle, the sun sets today, and rises again on December 31st.
