Welfare Bosses Fail to Help Troubled Family

Published onsdag 20 december 2006 kl 15.04

Savage criticism is now being fired at Swedish social welfare authorities dealing with a Swedish family with 3 handicapped children – following the death of a 15 year-old daughter.

Although many complaints were filed because of the husband’s battering the wife in front of the children and the parents’ refusal to give proper medical aid to the youngsters who could not speak and needed daily care, the welfare bosses kept most of the complaints to themselves – instead of handing them over for action.

2 of the welfare bosses have already resigned.
