At least one Swedish citizen is reported to have been detained in Somalia by the interim government there.

A spokesman for the interim government has told the Associated Press that what he called Islamic guerrilla soldiers from Sweden, Britain, Chechnya, and Eritrea were captured during recent fighting. A Somali radio station reportedly says they were taken near the Kenyan border.

The Swedish foreign ministry says there is no official confirmation, and it is investigating.
