The Swedish Foreign Ministry has confirmed that a Swede was among the 114 people onboard a plane that crashed in Cameroon at the weekend.

The Kenya Airways Boeing 737 was heading to Nairobi from Douala, in Cameroon, when it came down in bad weather and rescue workers say there’s almost no chance anyone survived the accident.

The cause of the crash is unclear, but it’s thought the plane could have been hit by lightening.
