Moose Safaris Attracting Visitors

Published måndag 13 augusti 2007 kl 12.50

Moose safaris are bringing thousands of tourists to Sweden.

The TT news agency reports that the moose, or European elk, often perceived as an exotic animal for foreigners visiting Sweden, is proving an alternative to the more traditional tourist sights such as Stockholm’s Royal Palace and City Hall.

The Swedish King of animals, tourists have described the moose as an important part of experiencing Sweden. Now Swedish tour operators are incorporating the Nordic four-legged giant into their activities, providing trips to the woods for a sight of the moose.
