Children Rented to Commit Crimes

Published fredag 21 september 2007 kl 12.37

The Swedish police have uncovered what they suspect to be gangs of foreign criminals exploiting children to commit crimes in this country.

Several investigations are currently underway. It is suspected that parents in Eastern Europe have been paid to lend their children to the gangs.

They are then brought to Western European countries, including Sweden, where they steal from shops and pick pockets.
