Gothenburg Book Fair Opens

Published torsdag 27 september 2007 kl 13.47

The annual Gothenburg International Book Fair has opened.

For the 23rd time the fair, which is the biggest of its kind in the Nordic region, gathers authors, publishers, librarians and book lovers with seminars by some of the world’s most read and loved authors.

In the center this time stands a small Baltic country, Estonia, whose literature, history and culture will be in focus at the Book Fair over the weekend. The central theme for this year is ”Freedom of Expression” for a second time in a row, as it proved to be a popular theme from last year.
