Mammograms Not Given to Some Swedish Women

Published tisdag 9 oktober 2007 kl 10.51

Hundreds of women in southeast Sweden have not been called in for their regular mammograms for several years  – possibly resulting in some women not getting early enough warnings of breast cancer.

The failure has come though cancelled x-ray services at one hospital, without any measures taken to make sure that other hospitals took over the check-ups.
