Nobel laureate’s talk cancelled

Published onsdag 10 oktober 2007 kl 10.13
Nobel Medicine laureate, Sir Martin Evans

A cautionary tale that winning a Nobel Prize may not capture the world’s unquestioning interest.

A talk due to be given by one of this year’s Medicine Nobel laureates, Sir Martin Evans, has been cancelled due to a lack of interest, the BBC reports.

Evan’s seminar, on stem cell research, due to be held in Cardiff in Great Britain, was planned prior to his winning the Nobel Prize on Monday.

The talk has been re-scheduled for the new year.
