Swedish Expels Afghani Refugees
Swedish refugee advisors are sharply critical of the migration authorities here for expelling refugees from Afghanistan - despite the worsening security situation there and continuing deaths from suicide bombers.
The critics claim that two Afghani refugees whose appeals for asylum have been rejected are now being held in detention - awaiting expulsion orders, and that four Afghanis have been forcibly expelled from Sweden during the last two months.
The advisors demand that the Swedish authorities make an internal decision that no cases among the hundreds of Afghanis asking for asylum are to be handed over to the police.
Some of them are coming from areas declared by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as too dangerous to receive returning refugees
