New Trial for Women’s Refuge Houses Hiding Children

Published onsdag 14 november 2007 kl 12.06

A controversial court case re-opens here in Sweden where several women’s refuge houses are accussed of helping a mother hide her 2 children illegally from the father for 6 years.

The question is whether or not the staff knew that the mother did not have legal custody of the children, and therefore unlawfully denied the father access to the children.

A lower court acquited the staff.
