Swedish Students Fall Behind

Published torsdag 29 november 2007 kl 13.08

The Swedish Education system needs to stay behind after classes and do some extra work according to a new OECD study.

In the leaked report which looks at educational standards among 15 years olds in 57 countries, Sweden has fallen 4 places when it comes to science. From 18th place in 2003, to 22nd place today.

The best country in the world for science teaching is Finland according to the study, with Hong Kong, Canada and Taiwan next in line. Norway comes in 24th, and Denmark back in 33rd.
