Prison Doors Left Open
Prison guards in the southern Swedish town of Västervik have been forgetting to do the most important part of their job, according to the local paper.
They’ve been forgetting to lock the cell doors.
Even doors on cells with prisoners inside, and on one occasion it was a prisoner himself that pointed out the miss.
The local Prison Board is not amused, saying that it’s one of the more obvious parts of the job, and the whole point of the industry, that doors in a prison should be locked.
