Bullied Student Receives Record Compensation
A student in Malmö has received a record amount in compensation. After mediation between the student ombudsman Lars Arrhenius the settled amount was 13,000 Dollars.
The trouble began in primary school where he was taunted and excluded by other pupils. In 6th grade the boy was also filmed whilst being sticky taped to a pole in the school yard. The incident was later shown on the Internet.
Sweden introduced a law against discriminatory and bullying behaviour of pupils in school in April last year.
