Report: Gaming Lowers Stress

Published tisdag 11 december 2007 kl 10.45

People who play computer games more often have a lower tendency towards drinking alcohol and are not as stressed as those who play less.

This is according to a new report by the Youth Board who surveyed almost 3,000 people. It found that 7 out of 10 people played games occasionally and used them as a way of relaxing and spending time with others.

The results of the report also contradicts the common view that those who play a lot are lazy and overweight. A representative from the Youth Board said that he hoped that this would help change the view people have of those playing, especially amongst adults.
