Ica Supermarket Manager Resigns
In the latest twist to the ongoing mince beef scandal in Sweden, an Ica supermarket shop manager from the Stockholm suburb of Botkyrka has quit.
This follows the Swedish Television revelation that mince at 4 Ica supermarkets had been deliberately mislabelled with the wrong use by date.
His shop had been one of the stores accused in the report. A statement was released by Ica across Sweden on Thursday afternoon confirming the resignation, but they have declined to give further comment.
