Easier to Correct Financial Black List

Published torsdag 27 december 2007 kl 11.00

The Swedish minister for finance has promised that those incorrectly getting black listed by the financial authorities will no longer be denied loans or credit cards.

This year, 5,000 people in Sweden have appealed to get their names off that black list but only one out of 5 were able to get their names cleared.

Swedish bureaucracy has been so rigid that it’s been almost impossible to get your name cleared once you end up on that infamous financial black list – even if this was a mistake.
