Stockholm is enjoying its warmest winter since records began over 250 years ago. The average temperature, with just a few weeks left looks like being over 2 degrees Celsius. The previous record, from 1973, registered an average temperature of 1.9 degrees.
And it’s fairly mild across Sweden today as well, with the odd snow shower in the north, but other than that dry.
The midday temperature in Stockholm was 7 degrees Celsius,
In Kiruna in the north it was minus 6,
In Gothenburg in the west it was 10 degrees,
And Malmö in the south had 9 degrees Celsius.
The sun rose over Stockholm this morning at 7.19,
Sunset at 16.48.
