Nordin Took over in Stockholm

Stockholm’s Town Hall was hit by a political bombshell two weeks ago, when Mayor Kristina Axén-Olin suddenly announced her resignation, saying that work as the Mayor couldn’t be combined with life as a single mum. The conservative Moderates as the biggest party in the ruling centre-right coalition had to look for a new mayor. The choice ended up being Sten Nordin.

Whereas Kristina Axén-Olin was a controversial and well known figure, Sten Nordin is rather unknown among the general public. Something he hopes will soon change.
