Sven Sacked At City
Sweden’s most famous football managerial export Sven Göran Eriksson is out of a job.
After weeks of speculation, Svennis was finally sacked on Monday as manager of English Premier League club Manchester City after only one year in charge.
Despite guiding City to a top ten finish, the club’s ambitious chairman Thaksin Shinawatra no longer had any confidence in the Swede, who previously managed the English National side.
He’s now expected to take over as head coach of Mexico although he has been linked with another English club Chelsea.
