Women More Energy Aware
According to a new study by the Swedish Defence Research Agency, men here consume far more energy than women.
In a 60 page report, the agency says single men use around 20 percent more energy than single women. The main difference appears to be in transportation, with men more inclined to spend more on cars and fuel, and they spend more time driving.
Men also use twice as much energy as women when it comes to eating out and consuming alcohol and tobacco. The study also shows that women appear to be more interested in buying products proven to be less harmful to the environment.
