Published tisdag 26 augusti 2008 kl 12.50
Stockholm's derby match between Hammarby and AIK was disrupted by violence

For the second successive season, a local derby between two rival Stockholm team ended with both sets of players fleeing the pitch after violence erupted on the terraces.

Rival fans of AIK and Hammarby had clashed before Monday night’s game with police making several arrests. Then with 7 minutes of the match remaining, a firework was thrown at the goalkeeper of AIK. The players were led off the pitch while order was restored.

The match, which resumed 20 minutes later, finished 2-2.
