Englund’s Psyche Not Deranged

Published torsdag 4 september 2008 kl 09.21
Eklund with his lawyer in court

Anders Eklund, the man who has confessed to the murder of both 10 year old Engla Höglund earlier this year and 31 year old Pernilla Hellgren in 2000, faces a regular jail sentence after his psyche has now been diagnosed as being not severely deranged.

According to an expertise by the National Board of Health and Welfare Englund does not need to be detained in a forensic psychiatry.

Therewith the National Board follows the recommendation given by a psychiatry professor during the Engla Höglund trial.
