Hunting Sweden’s wild boar and selling their meat is to be made easier.

There are now 80,000 wild boar in Sweden and their numbers are doubling every sixth year.

And last year there were 2100 traffic accidents involving the animals, an increase of 70 percent on the previous year.

So on Thursday the government decided to allow the use of lights to hunt wild boar at night.

The Swedish National Food Administration will also have the mission of making the sale of wild boar meat easier.
