A rising number of Swedes are willing to donate organs. A fresh survey conducted by the Donation Council shows that more than half of Sweden’s adult citizens agree to make their organs available for donations after death, that’s considerably more than before the turn of the century.

Roughly fifty percent of the interviewed said they were already carrying donation cards on their person, so that in case of a fatal accident their organs would be immediately available for transplant purposes.
