Dutch ’No’ to Swedish fighter plane

Hard to sell - fighter plane Gripen

Swedish airplane manufacturer SAAB is losing one more possible buyer of its fighter plane Jas Gripen. NATO member Netherlands has announced that it will modernize its air force by replacing the present standard fighter plane, the American Lockheed F-16, with its successor, the Joint Strike Fighter F-35. This follows an identical decision by Norway, another member of the Atlantic Alliance.
