Tax Cuts for 2009

Published måndag 29 december 2008 kl 11.15
A little less goes to taxes in '09

The centre-right government are hoping to give the Swedish economy a boost in 2009 with a mix of income tax cuts and tax rises on house selling

People will save from 13 to 130 US dollars, depending on how much they earn.

Tax on pensions will also be reduced.

Although those who make a profit by selling a house will see the tax rise, from 20 to 22 percent, it is again possible to write off taxes for the repair, maintenance and extension of homes.
