Talks on Sweden’s future energy polices continue between the government and the opposition.

On Tuesday Minister for Enterprise and Energy Maud Olofsson met with the leaders of the Social Democrat, Left and Green parties. All sides expressed satisfaction afterwards, but the opposition leaders said many questions remain unanswered.

The center-right government recently reversed the policy adopted after the 1980 referendum to phase out nuclear power here, opening the door to building new reactors.
